Is This Perfection?

I was going through photos from a trip to Las Vegas in 2007 and was about to delete this one (too dark, too hard to see, a bit blurry, not a perfect shot) when I realised it was perfect for my purpose which  was to find a photograph to illustrate the words “I am perfectly imperfect”.

We are none of us perfect. Every one of us has made mistakes (a miss of your take? or perhaps a re – take?) or errors of judgement and may make more as we thankfully grow in understanding and wisdom to learn to firstly love ourself, then to forgive ourself, then to forgive others and love others and everything on our planet.

Remember that old saw about the Chinese characters being the same for chaos and opportunity? I looked them up and they are not the same, so, tempted as I was to keep that sentence (immediately before writing this one) it would have been a miss- take. And now I have also learnt something new through this opportunity because I did a re-take.

So, are there mistakes or are there simply different opportunities for other ways to think and feel?

Love to hear from you
