About Yourself
There’s no aphrodisiac like loneliness” sang The Whitlams.
And I say, “”The loneliest place in the world is in a relationship that’s not working.”
Your relationship with you? What’s that about? Is your relationship with yourself working? If it isn’t, you’ll be feeling lonely from the inside out.
Your relationship with yourself is the most important one there is, because you have to live with youself 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the rest of your life!
Be sure to listen to those inner inklings and take note of the inner voice (your wonderful inner child, your subconscious) that expresses emotions. When you block emotions, you block yourself. When you acknowledge emotions you acknowledge yourself and open yourself up to solutions.
EMOTIONS
Listen and respond to your emotional dilemmas as though they come from a little child and you are the parent who loves, guides, soothes, protects, advises and nurtures that little one.
Wouldn’t you ask your physical child “what is wrong?”
Wouldn’t you say, “how can I help you to feel better?”
Wouldn’t you say, “I love you no matter what”?
When you do these things on a daily basis, along with giving yourself lots of praise, you really will feel good about yourself! Even excellent…
COGNITION: About the way you think, and feelings
Click here for the article on Thoughts and Feelings from a Cognitive Psychology and NLP perspective. Please read the information and think about what you have read, and feel free to ask me questions.
Our perception of things affects how we feel, and how we think, so understanding the effects of those old thinking patterns (the rat wheel!) is important so that you stay out of those old thoughts and enjoy the positive thinking and positive feeling of being in the now.
It might be time to start thinking about your goals. What are your goals, your dreams for the future? In a future email there will be a form for you to complete to define your goals further.
Until Next Time
